The news about ‘New Pink Look WhatsApp with extra features’ which is recently doing rounds among the WhatsApp users is a hoax which can lead to hacking of your mobile through malicious software. It is not an uncommon instance, to see the fraudsters come up with variety of new tricks and ways to lure gullible users falling into their trap to commit cyber frauds.

In this regard, Andaman and Nicobar Police issues the following advisory to safeguard yourself against hoax pink WhatsApp: 

1) Do not install pink WhatsApp.

Port Blair, Sept. 28: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has once again raised the issue of severe shortage of beds in Girls’ Hostels of JNRM and ANCOL with the Chief Secretary of the Andaman & Nicobar Administration.

During a meeting with the Chief Secretary on 27th September 2023, the Member of Parliament requested the Chief Secretary to expedite the completion of two under-construction hostels inside JNRM & ANCOL, so that all girl students from different parts of Andaman & Nicobar Islands can get safe Hostel accommodation in Port Blair.

Mr. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Member BJP & Former State President BJP-ANI has deeply mourned the sad demise of Shri Chandan Kumar, aged 95 Yrs, resident of Tapu Basti, Bambooflat who passed away on 29/09/2023.

Shri Jolly prayed to the Almighty for the eternal peace of the departed soul and to give strength to his bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Port Blair, Sept. 28: The exhilarating DGP Cup Badminton Tournament, featuring a staggering 10 different categories and a total of 90 matches played in over 10 days, concluded in a spectacular one-day event. The closing ceremony was a celebration of sportsmanship, dedication, and outstanding athleticism.

The tournament, organized under the guidance of the Deputy Inspector General of Police, A&N Police, Ms. Monika Bhardwaj, witnessed intense competition as players from police department gave their all to clinch victory in their respective categories.
